Artificial surf-- in Hawaii!

I'm not sure whether to be amused or nauseated by "Da'FlowRider".

Re: Artificial surf-- in Hawaii!

In some surfing movie (Endless Summer II?) they showed something like this. I guy sits in a booth and controls the water flow. He can jack it up and send the guy flying, for example.

I'd guess that a wipeout would be pretty uncomfortable, since it looks like the water is only a few inches deep.
