Post your award winning appetizer for the Super Bowl.
The wife and I are planning seared fillet crustini.
toasted baguette with thin sliced fillet seared on charcoal grill, arugula, sauce of sour cream horse radish fresh tarragon mayonnaise a dash of worcester sauce and couple of capers.
We experimented with it and it is pretty darn good.

I had to look up some dishes described since it's all foreign to me. We will be eating award winning Hooters chicken wings, Papa Johns pizza and wash it down with ice cold Coronas.

Crockpot Artery-Clogging Queso:

2 lbs. “processed cheese”
1-lb. jar salsa
1-lb. sausage, browned/crumbled
1-can Cream of Mushroom soup

Melt/mix in slow cooker. Serve with tortilla chips (scoop style preferred)

Planning seared Ahi Sashimi with wasabi dipping sauce

I don't have an appetizer because I am bringing dessert to the superbowl party this year. I'm either doing lemon bars with lemons fresh from the tree or mini tarts with a pate sucre shell and nutella ganache filling. Depends what I feel like making on Saturday.

I also saw a recipe for vegan chocolate chip cookies that sounded better than most vegan desserts. If I have time, I'll make those for our vegan friend who always attends the party and can't eat the usual stuff I bring.

Similar. Curious soup option.

Smoked mullet dip on a saltine cracker with a splash of Crystal hot sauce. Wash it down with really cold PBR. Greetings from the Redneck Riviera of Florida!

That does indeed sound like redneck cuisine. No local redneck beer, although PBR is close enough.

Thanks! Once you get the steaks seared, just slice thin and done.

More on the healthy side - Edamame
And the not-so-healthy item - deep fryed Gyoza

Talking to DW today to see what I want...

Right now it is either brisket or hamburgers... so, not award winning...

What? There is a Super Bowl?

No. And I can see why you are confused. There’s a typo in your comment.

This Sunday, there apparently is some celebration by birders of a Superb Owl or two that have been cited in the area of Atlanta. Who says different?

You forget the Rotel.
