Never without Chapstick. Cherry is okay when that is all I can find.

We took a dozen or so tubes of Chapstick with us to Mongolia and gave them to the herding families we met in the Gobi--they loved them!

Brilliant! Chapstick is a perfect light packable gift for third world travel. Much better than chewing gum. But I'd worry about them melting into a mess in warmer climates.
