Cats Hate Lemon Juice - I was not aware of that

I made a picture of lemonade, then went to feed my cats.

The usual routine is I let them hop on my lap and I pet them and they purr on my before the nightly feeding. Well, this afternoon, one of them whiffed the residue scent of lemon on my hand and wanted none of the petting. Instead, she acted like my hand was a wild rat. My other cat, wasn't that put off, but still he was much more cautious than usual.

...and while doing that, make a mental note that perhaps you could also use lemon juice to keep your cats away from any places you don't want them to go?
