^Frankly ATT has among priciest most restrictive of wireless internet options unless it's the only carrier you can get a signal. Every option discussed in thread is far better depending on needs. Many have used phone as hotspot for years but again ATT not friendly with it. ATT exploits those who still trust the brand. I know as I used to work for them.

We cut all land lines 3 years ago and have used Verizon with an unlimited plan. they cut the speed after 15 GB, but can still stream Amazon prime movies....
