divorce and marriage
Getting married in Florida requires documentation of previous divorce date.
Crap.
I don't even remember the year.

You must have the papers somewhere. If not, do you remember the name of the lawyer you hired? Hopefully there are records in his or her office.

I might have the papers somewhere. Could contact ex, don't know if he has stuff from ~25 years ago.
Might call the county office in Ohio.

Since you know the county they do keep records for ever. Doing Geneology, we found records of my great great grandparents divorce in IA for example. (The full record was there with the pleadings). In fact first try the counties web site and look for divorce records, which might be on line. Here is a link to the state of Ohio web site which says it has records back to 1954. A lot of this information is public record that has been put online. You might be surprised as to what a simple search using your name in the County's data base might turn up.
