DoD SMART Scholarship - 1st Hand Experience?

Per the subject, anyone have first-hand experience with the DoD SMART Scholarship? I'd like to hear how it worked out and any challenges.

Worked with a few engineers who used it for graduate degrees, it's a great program, they stay employed and go to school full time. You do have to commit to work for DOD after getting the degree, I knew one engineer who left DOD before his required time was up and he did have to pay some of it back (his new employer paid it off).

Thanks for asking this question! I hope DD considers this option in a few years. Sorry, I don't have an answer on this program, but I did get the Army to pay for grad school while paying my salary... if you're interested in that type of program.
