Ductless Heating/ac Performance

After 2 power bills and a winter's use, the Ductless heating unit has exceeded expectations. Our power bills went from $350/2months to $210/2months and comfort level is amazing.

PNW has a mild winter climate with temp averages of 30's and 40's in winter with extreme lows to 15ish. The ductless performed perfectly in the 30's and 40s range, but worked a bit below 20 F.

Data:
House sqft: 1200 with front face of house full windows (beach house).
Unit: LG inverter ductless (18000btu) (single inside unit)
Average KW usage: 32kw/day
$/kw: $.0943
Inside temp: 72 F constant
Average outside temp 41f for winter
Extreme low: 18F
Cost: (self install) $1200 after PUD rebates
Satisfaction: High

Lookin forward to the few super warm summer days to see how the AC works.

Have a friend who uses a mini-split in SoCal and is very impressed at her reduced electric cost during the cooling seasons. They do seem like good things, but we heat with gas and avoid the super heat, sooo not worth my spending on them. yet.
