Dumb ipod question
Assuming one has a stereo with a functioning line in port, how do you wire an ipod up to the stereo? Do I need something special to do this?

I just use a standard audio jack from the iPod earplug port to the stereo audio in port.

OK. Can I get a double male audio jack cord at a Best Buy or similar?

Might cost you $3 or so, so think it over carefully. Why not just bring the iPod along and try it out at Radio Shack just to be sure. Not all iPods are made the same. I have a nano.

Re: Dumb ipod question
You probably need a 1/8" stero mini jack -> stereo RCA cable. Use the aux, video, or whatever connections on your stereo, but not the phono. Phono = bad.

Brewer
You need a line in to RCA cable. You can get a simple one for about $5 at Radio Shack or $30 at Best Buy
