Re: Birthday Month
What about those of us who don't dwell in the Black Hole but think we might get sucked into it? Can we participate?

Re: ER Birth Month
Wow, what's up with August/September? Maybe some sort of back to school trauma motivates us for permanent summer vacation?

Re: ER Birth Month
To sum up all of the board surveys, most on these boards were born in Aug/Sept, since their parents were "feeling frisky" during the cold, dark winter, folks save greater than 40% of their gross so they can retire in their 40s, but dont know their mother's maiden name?

You nailed it buddy! Everything was* just fine till Sept 1963. Then "those people" made me.. FORCED ME.. to do stuff every day starting real early in the friggin' morning. Stuff THEY wanted me to do that I didn't find interesting or useful at all.* And my parents didn't seem to care, and even took "their" side!
It got only slightly better as an adult when at least I got to select what kind of crap I was going to be forced to eat from the few kinds of crap available on the menu "those people" gave me. Plus I got paid which I used to my advantage. I let them give me the rope I would use to climb out of the "shaft" they thought I was trapped in
Funny thing about all this is that I didn't see anybody else offering any resisitance. Parents? All from* Stepford. Totally bought in to the Mill-wheel Society.* Teachers? Biggest bunch of automatons and empty barrels.* They don't know, and they don't even know they don't know. Students/peers? Weak-willed, "doin' it all for luv", grovellers and scrapers. "Oh, Please love me! See how well I tow the Party Line?! "
Yeah, I knew 42 yrs ago THAT kind of slave-like existance was gonna have to stop at the earliest possible split pico-second!

Re: ER Birth Month
Dan,
You are probably already aware of this, but with 46 people responding to this poll as of now, the odds are greater than 90% that two of the respondents have the same birthday (not the same year).
http://www.people.virginia.edu/~rjh9u/birthtable.html
Don't know how you want do develop a poll around that, but I'm confident you'll figure something out....

Thats a cool resource..thanks REW
Can you find an odds by month....
In the general population NOV would have registered by now... there is a noteworthy statistical aberration going on here. Then there is this Aug -Sept thing..does that match the Gen pop? Thesis material...

My mom wanted July and that's what's on my birth certificate, but she admitted it was March, so I was honorable and voted March even if it makes me older and even if I celebrate in July.*
However, I do not know which day it is in March that I burst out of the planet, and she does not remember or claims not to know.*
I do like March 17th...very festive and green.
(I was adopted.)

Hmmm, "mother earth" is not a term I've used.* I chose bursting out of instead of bursting into*the planet, since I am not a space alien, despite the "out-there" post above.* Bursting was not a good choice, though.

I blame the run-on sentence on too much caffeine and the happy-Friday syndrome that afflicts working folks.*
What I wrote was basically true but not wanting to reveal the whole story, I do sound wacky, don't I?* There's the conflict of wanting to share and participate with not wanting to reveal too much personal info, resulting in some cryptic or weird-sounding posts inflicted on the board from time to time.
