Me too. I figure the new posting rules just mean that a somewhat drier commentary style is needed. Elevate the banter high enough and the mods may not even notice it.... (sorry mods).

I use trip-adviser before I book a room. I really read the reviews form people who have stayed at the hotel I am considering and look at the candid pictures they post. It helps a lot. I find the reviews to be dead on.
