The quiz was last night. It was a lot of fun to do, and especially nice to see everyone joining in - at many pub quizzes, when certain categories turn up, you can see whole groups of people switching off, whereas everyone has something to contribute on the subjects covered here.
The winning team was a group of four American teachers from the locla bilingual elementary school. They didn't even know that the quiz was on, but the pub was full downstairs and so their drink-and-meal-out was moved into the middle of our area, so they pitched in.
Here is the more-or-less raw data which I got from here and a couple of other forums, with a mixture of Brits and Americans. Some answers have been merged when they were "more or less the same thing". Thanks again to everyone who contributed.
