This is not really solo (it's a Beatles tune), but I think it's great.

i watched that again. McCartney's got about the same body type as me. He's taller, sings better, and writes better than me.
Oh well, you have to have something to strive for in early retirement!

On that video, the drummer replicates the beats Ringo did on lines like "but you can do something in between". What a great kick drum.
I don't know if people appreciate what great musicians The Beatles really were.

I read somewhere that McCartney always wanted to write a song like Little Richard did: just one note. He came pretty close on that one.

I'm a stickler for "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" although George wrote it, the band performed it. Always mesmerized by this video. RIP Tom Petty and Prince and of course, George Harrison. His son looks like him.

Paul's songs when he was raising his kids are some of my favorite of his. "Let Me Roll It To Ya" (title might not be perfect, as I didn't look it up). "Someone's Knocking at the Door". I really wish now that I hadn't ignored my guitar when my kids were little.

This is one of my favorite video clips. What a display of talent. I have a hard time deciding between this song and “My Sweet Lord” as my favorite George song.
Favorite by Ringo: It Don’t Come Easy
Peace and Love to Ringo today!
