Re: For you Star Trek geeks...

I dont know if all the star trek geeks heard this, but some yahoos are making more "TOS" episodes. IIRC they bought the original "bridge" and have a bunch of not particularly great but free actors filling in the roles. They've put out a couple of fairly credible 'episodes' you can download for free. I watched part of one. Not really any better or worse than the old Shatner ones were. I hear they signed up Sulu and Chekov to appear in some future episodes.

Hmm...I wonder if Sulu will be doing any more shirtless swordfights... :P

About the episodes or about the swordfights?

But to answer your question, most probably.

Yes, I just read about this in WIRED. They apparently have some heavy hitters working on it too - DC Fontana and an anonymous special effects guy who was simultaneously working on Enterprise. Apparently Paramount doesn't really care as long as they aren't making any money off it.

Haven't gotten around to downloading them yet though...
