Good phone for visually impaired?
My FIL has three phones, but none of them are that good, according to assisted living.
We are 1500 mi away and wish to order a quality phone for him, via Amazon. Any of you know of a model that your loved one has had good luck with?
A family friend is willing to get it set up, if we can just find a decent phone.
Thanks.

Right - the OP was not clear about this. Are we talking mobile phone or a home corded/cordless phone? Big difference.

Landline. Cordless. was what I meant. sorry about that.
FIL has tried a couple cell phones, but not at all happy with them, holding to his ear with the phone upside down, too much sound interference...he very rarely uses it because of his bad experiences. He gets frustrated.
However, the mention of Jitterbug has me wondering. They look good in the AARP magazine ads.
Thanks for the suggestions. Years ago, a family member got a phone for my grandmother, who was also visually impaired, that had huge numeral keys and was easy for her to use...but, it turned out to be a piece of junk. We want something easy to use and crystal clear sound.
Thanks again.

My FIL is in assisted living, had a jitterbug phone for years, however due to further mental decline, was starting to try and use it for a tv remote and wouldn't answer it all. We have switched him to a traditional phone with some pictures of us on it: link to phone
We paired this up with a Verizon home phone for $20 a month link to verizon home phone
So far this has been successful he is answering it and has even called us!
