Phases of Love

I couldnt come up with one song.
My first thot was "love and happiness" by the reverend al green, its very descriptive as to what love is,
then I thot, oh, it must be "Lets stay together" by al green, which gives a straightforward instruction as to what to do with your love,
and finally I thot of the "End of the World" by skeeter davis, which describes the heartwrenching feeling when true love ends.

I dont know how to link these, but they are on youtube.

Couldn't find a video, but...

She is the one that I'm dreaming of
And you always hurt the one you love
And ever since my masochistic baby went and left me
I've had nothin' to hit but the wall
Nothin' to belt but my pants
Nothin' to whip but the cream
Nothin' to beat but the eggs
Oh nothin' to punch but the clock
Oh nothin' to strike but a match
Oh nothin' to hit but the wall...

Masochistic Baby, Shel Silverstein
