Happy 74th birthday John Lennon

Happy 74th John - the world is a less kinder place without you.

I thought some of you might appreciate Eddie Vedder's live cover of "Imagine". I'm sure John Lennon would approve.

And perhaps the very first recording of a plaintive Lennon vocal, famous Beatle harmony, and catchy songwriting:

A sad remembrance. My favorite Beatles tunes were overwhelmingly John's, though 'the whole was far greater than the sum of the (subsequent solo) parts' IMO.

Co-written by John, perhaps for Cynthia, who died today at age 75. I read her recent book John a few years ago. I found it very fascinating. RIP
