Get a roll of vinyl covered chicken wire. I use this all over the yard in several ways. Depending on how large your garden is, you can create a vertical box with it, and probably need a few stakes to hold it up.
Cut a piece so long, and fold it at the corners. I lay it flat and use a piece of plywood to fold it at the corners. When you get to joining the ends together you use wire wrap.
Use gloves while your working on this, The cut ends will tear you up...
You can guy meta stakes, and so on. I do this because the material lasts forever, and I can re-purpose it in several ways. It looks better than the cheaper silver mesh.
