Reading the post '26 days in' prompted me to post a short TED video about 'How To Learn Anything In 20 Hours' by Josh Kaufman. I don't think this has been posted before but I saw it on another forum and it makes a ton of sense.
Basic premise: if you want to learn anything new (musical instrument, surfing, woodworking, any new skill), invest 20 hours into it and you'll be be skilled enough that you will not become frustrated and surrender. He makes some great points and even uses a ukulele that he taught himself to play in 20 hours.

Hope to take this to heart as I continue to practice being a 'connoisseur of life'.
