I'm A Stock/Bond Trader And I'm Not Ashamed
After I retired at 50 in 2001 - I would tell people some of what I did all day - but I would shy away from saying I played the market - Day traders in the 90s had given the rest of us serious stock speculators (whose time frame is often weeks, months and years) a bad reputation - I was afraid I would get a look like I was barely above an alcoholic-gambler-wife beating-good for nothing-idler.
Lately, I've been telling people that part of what I do is stock trading.
The reaction has been positive -I feel like it's time for me to come out of the stock market closet.

Just giving you that "Stock Buyers Anonymous" full service experience
But yeah, toss that steak over here. All I had all day is a bagle and a few chunks of the dried fruit the baby threw at me. Thats the food rule here. Anything he throws at me I get to keep.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
