Income Tax Question - Travel Expense?

Taxpayer's home in one city where wife and daughter reside.
He is away 5 days per week working in another city, where employer is located. Returns home every weekend. Permanent arrangement.
Deductible travel expense?

Don't think so - get employer to foot the bill.

unless the company IS paying for his expense on the road? I would say it is deductable.

No. Commuting expenses are not deductible.
