Longmire has been picked up by Netflix. They will produce 10 shows for 2015.

Longmire was canceled by A and E because of poor demographics. The average viewer was 60. Egads! What a disaster [emoji33]. Just another reason to cut the cord, IMHO.

Yesssss! Thanks for the confirmation. A couple of days ago I read they were in negotiations, but did not want to get my hopes up in case it came to nothing.

I cut the cord 18 months ago and watched Longmire on the A&E website. IIRC, it had the highest ratings of all their shows (so of course it was cancelled).

It would appear that our viewership and our business is not wanted. So, I'll keep both with Netflix.
