How can you possibly believe this? I mean, the man is so obviously out of hisdepth that he'd need a periscope to see the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The Ja Vold! response to a major terrorist attack on US soil is perhaps understandable, but the subsequent ill-advised siege on the Bill of Rights and the modern day Viet Nam in the desert surely will not waft past future historians as great strategic maneuvers. C'mon, at least Lincoln could speak in complete sentences.

But it won't matter in the long run. The historians will be so busy chronicaling the impeachment proceedings that they won't have time to deal with hisother blunders.

And the best part is if we go into a "Greater Depression" and the inflation rate falls to less than zero (deflation), the return on the TIPS could go negative!!!!

If you had a plain old Treasury, it would skyrocket in value.

I hope there is an impeachment. It will do more harm to the dems
than Bush and will keep them occupied so as to reduce the passage
of more dopey laws. Ergo, a long impeachment process would benefit

Actually, the answer has been offered countless times. It really is pretty simple. If you don't have the votes to get out, you have to continue to support the thousands of Americans who are in harms way. Voting to place the innocent young Americans in even greater danger would be even more irresponsible than putting them there by lying to the American people about WMDs.

I'm more concerned about the timeless fight for justice than this temporary "war" on terror. If we had kept our eyes on the prize--Bin Laden and Al Qaeda--instead of the neocon agenda for world domination and more oil, America and the world would be a much better place today. That Bush was so easily garden-pathed by these bad actors is a tragic heartbreak from where I sit.
