Perfectly suitable. They need to learn about privacy and online safety, but one needs to learn that in this modern day and age anyways.

Nearly nine months later, no problems. Well, other than the fact that I get about zero computer time on weekends between sunrise and 9 PM. If MySpace has an IPO then I'm buying.

The kids having troubles on MySpace.com are also likely to help strangers look for their puppies, to accept free product samples from guys wearing trenchcoats on streetcorners, and to tell unknown phone callers "No, my parents aren't home, just me."
