NASCAR Fans (Season is now starting)

Okay, I know there aren't as many NASCAR fans here as we have baseball and football fans but hopefully we have a few.

Today is the start of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR race season with the Daytona 500.

(1) Do you know about and understand the new racing format for 2017?

(2) Do you like it?

(3) Do you think any "brand" has an advantage this year? Ford, Chevy or Toyota

(4) Who's your pick to win today's Daytona 500. (okay to pick for all 3 stages if you like.)

I think I understand the new format (maybe) and I like it. I think all the manufactures are pretty evenly matched and I'm going to pick Earnhardt as the winner in all stages (what are the odds of that . (At least I hope he has great comeback)

I do like to watch, but do record it so I can speed past the commercials and when it does become boring....

I do NOT know what the new rules are, so cannot comment on them... I guess they will explain them during the race and maybe I will come back and comment if they are a bit stupid.... I do not like the way they determine the champion for the year now... somebody could win 34 races and not win the championship... how stupid is that Going to a 'playoff' like other sports is just stupid IMO... I can go on on this subject, but will stop....
