Ok this is worth reading.

Underage drinking?

look this women is no child!

Our drinking laws are as dumb as they come.

Oh we will give her a second chance, gee mr trump wow, what a great guy.

Bottom line the repressive drinking laws and puritanical ideas on alcohol are why college age americans get darn stupid and overindulge in the evil elixer!

I wonder what that girl did in that bar in NYC last weekend, did her top come off??

Oh yea she got DRUNK! Big deal so did many of your college age kids!

Re: Ok this is worth reading.

I am not a Trump fan, but as a recovering alcoholic he understands the illness. Good for him for providing treatment. I have heard him say that as a condition of participating in the family business he prohibits his children from consuming alcohol, the disease has a large genetic component.

I don't know if more liberal consumption laws would prevent college binge drinking, but doubt it would. Young people do stupid things, learning to drink younger won’t cure that.

You insurance experts... has there been any correlation between drunk driving (or other alcohol-related accidents) and raising the drinking age from 18 to 21?

So, if I was a member of the Trump family I'd get to work for Dad and not drink alcohol? Strike one, strike two. If he made even one offhand comment about grooming I'd be outta there...

Nothing but a wonderful marketing bonanza for all parties concerned.

Don't think so? Who was the Miss USA last year? What did she do of any note? Anything~ hair color, vital stats, race. Don't know do you? Nor do I.

Is Tara Conner addicted to drugs? Is she an alcoholic? Is she a lesbian? After it's all over and a new queen is crowned in March, Tara can rake in the $$ by going to visit Hugh Hefner and the gang in LA and letting them snap a few photos for their mag.

The Donald has done it again folks! We are all thinking about his "product" and not the war or those 2 guys frozen on Mt. Hood or even Christmas.

It's all about the art of the deal...if you read his book you know what I refer to.

Re: Ok this is worth reading.

Trump took the action that he did more to protect the image of the pageant than the current Ms. America. By allowing her to "enter rehab", Trump looks magnanimous and forgiving, helping his image as well. Overall, a win-win for Mr. Trump, and he was still able to make his point of being intolerant of boorish behavior by strategically delaying his decision.

Re: Ok this is worth reading.

They still have that "Miss USA/America" thing?? Huh, I guess I must have missed it.....FOR THE LAST 20 FRIGGING YEARS!!!

I guess my personal editorial on the matter would be.......hmmmmm.....let's see.....OH! I know! "Who gives a ratz-*ss about 'Miss Whats-Her-Name'....OR Don King Trump!!!"

I think if they want to have a 'Miss USA/America', they should get one that has accomplished something major...how about, let's say.....Served her country in a combat zone, and lived to tell about it....Or at least worked/volunteered on a hospital ship, or in a hospital, clinic, hospice, medical mission, etc. Maybe volunteered in a soup kitchen or homeless shelter for several months or a year. Something that might build some character, and give her a taste of REAL reality.

Then, MAYBE she would be qualified to be a REAL 'Miss USA/America'....and not just some spoiled, pissy-assed party girl! .....IMHO..... (end of rant)

Well she did actually have to hang around a number of NYC skanky bars. Probably as much combat as she can endure at this time in her life.

Yes. There are lots of other things impacting this, but DUI for 18-20 has dropped significantly more than other age groups, so there is a likely relationship.

According to Jay Leno (my main source for news), Miss USA was in the bar making out with Miss Teen USA.

I don't know about you Al, but that alone makes her my all-time favorite Miss USA.

Also my favorite all-time Teen USA, but due to her age, we may never know her name. Was this child sexual abuse? Maybe someone should investigate! Now, while the story is still hot.

Re: Ok this is worth reading.

Didn't Donald Trump buy the Miss USA franchise so he could hang around with pretty young women?

If you can, catch Yesterday's The Daily Show for commentary.

Katie Blair - Miss Teen USA 2006. She was 18 when she was crowned in August.

Here's a shot of the two women together.

Miss Universe reps (the people who "own" Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants) say that the reports that Miss Teen USA Katie Blair was making out with Miss USA are false. But, the story I saw that in did mention that the two women share an apartment with Miss Universe.

Not that any of this means anything - I'm just giving in to my salacious side so I can post their pics.
