I've decided to clean the file cabinet and I'm wondering if there's any benefit to keeping any old deeds of trust and their corresponding reconveyances?

I've confirmed that they've been registered properly with the county. I could scan them, but that seems like a lot of work so I'm wondering what others have done?

I have my last stamped paid mortgage, and the county deed showing house is paid in full, in our safe deposit box at our bank.

In my county, both those documents are on file with the Recorder of Deeds. But it's just a few pieces of paper. Now that I think about it, I have mine.
