I saw the ABB live at City Park Stadium in New Orleans in the summer of 1972. One of the more memorable concerts I've ever been to and still one of my all time favorite bands.
 
Even his stuff outside of the ABB. Check out " Loan me a dime" with the Boz.

Yes, that track just does it for me, always loved it. And the backup band is "The Swampers", the house band from "Muscle Shoals" recording studio. Check out the documentary "Muscle Shoals".

Just watched that doc a few nights ago. After that, look for Dave Grohl's documentary about "Sound City".

Several famous studio bands are behind an astounding number of recordings: Swampers, Wrecking Crew, and the Stax studio band, which is basically Booker T and the MGs...
