This cool little gadget was one of the first "intelligent' chat bots and has made a comeback of sorts. It's a mindless diversion (or therapy for cheapskates) and I was annoyed by round two.

Heh. As soon as I saw the subject, my first thought was "Eliza." I remember having a book of BASIC programs in the early 1980s that included the Eliza program, and I spent a couple hours entering that program into our Trash-80 (I was about 16 and dateless) and running it for about 15 minutes before being bored with it.

I assume Eliza has become a little more educated and sophisticated since then.

I hit ctrl-alt then delete. Then she said "DELL" in big blue letters. It was a sign.
