pics of hurricane sandy in queens ny

we went down by the bayside marina over by the cross island parkway near the throggs neck bridge.
we live 2 blocks away . thankfully we had no damage by us as close to little neck bay as we are.
here are some pics ,the jogging path area was devastated as well as there were down trees and debris all over the cross island parkway.

Hey - look like some great images to do some HDR Toning!

[Sorry, I know that wasn't the point. Yep, it's clear from TV etc. today that Sandy made a serious mess. At least the bad weather has subsided and people can get out and start the recovery.]

if it wasnt so bad out weather wise i would have brought the tripod and did some hdr .

I bet you can still get some cool toning effects even out of those single images.

we have done quite a flot of stuff with single photos and hdr toning software , not hdr but interesting toning anyway. i do flowers like that.
