We buy fresh beans and grind at home most of the time.
When out and about, stop at Starbucks, Peets, Dutch Bros. or BlackRock. A lot of coffee houses here!

I gotta confess I am shocked at the amazingly low percent of people that buy their coffee outside of home.

If I buy coffee out of the home it is because I NEED it to feed my addiction, so I go to Mc D's which has descent coffee cheap.

OTOH, if I am meeting friends for a good cup of coffee and conversation, then I go to a local independent shop in my area.

Other than that, as I said before, I make it at home.

DH and I are the only two humans on the planet that do not drink coffee, and feel divine intervention brought us together to live out our days in our coffee-free home.

I don’t know why but throughout my entire career my alarm was set for no later than 3:30 in the morning. Everyone I worked with drank coffee. It was only after ending my career that I became fascinated with the science of coffee. I take barista courses and love making coffee for my wife, family and neighbors.Latte art is one of the hardest skills I’ve ever attempted to master. Latte anyone? Come on over!

Could that be linked to early retirement aspirations or achievement?

My brother and sister are two more that don't drink coffee. And my sister doesn't drink any alcohol.

Some folks can’t handle the bitterness of coffee due to being super sensitive to bitter flavors. DB is one - can’t handle bitter flavors.

I'm just beginning this thread so someone downthread may have already made this observation.

There's a very logical reason why you see such poor drivers at DD - most of their stores are in Massachusetts!
