What do you think the cutoff should be?

Just off the top of my head--maybe $35,000 for a single and $70,000 for a couple and those folks should get more than $600 each. I also agree with someone else that those of us on Social Security should not get a stimulus check.

A cut off of $150,000 for a married couple is way too high in my opinion.

The problem is trying to find a balance for the whole country. Most of us look at this thru the lens of a couple living in a moderate/low COL area, like us.

Couple living in a low COL with no kids?
Family making $150 living in an average COL with 3 kids?
Family of 4 in a high COL?

There's no easy way to draw the line when looking at the whole country.

Agree with others that most people on this forum probably shouldn't be getting a check. I'm not sure there is an easy (and quick) way to only give it to people that "need" it, though.

Saw a women on TV being interviewed about the upcoming stimulus payment. She made a statement that has stuck with me for some reason.

"$600 is what rich people think poor people think is a lot of money".
