Posting pictures

How do I post pictures from my computer into a message? I know you do this

Just click the "Additional Options" text that is just below the box you type your post in. Then click a Browse button, to select the photo on your hard disk. The picture can't be too big or it won't allow the upload

One way to simplify the process is to sign up for a free account at www.photobucket.com there are other sites that work similarly, so if photobucket annoys you somehow, look for photo hosting web sites.

With photobucket, you upload your photos into your album. Then you can see them from anywhere. You'll note at the bottom of each photo is a couple of links, one that start with http, another that starts with img...if you cut and paste whats in the img field into a message here (which will be

) the picture will be embedded in your post.

Note that photobucket also lets you permanently 'reduce' the size of your photos which will make them smaller. We have some dial up internet users who will be unhappy about 2mb photos embedded in threads...
