Give me a museum and I'll fill it. (Picasso) Give me a forum ...
I have never been a big fan of recycling my trash.
Until recently.
The city now provides us with a 96 gallon rolling reclcling container and I am now a devoted recycler.
In addition to the huge container (the old one that was provided was about 15 gal) also came with new recycling rules. We can now recycle damn near everything that is not food-stuffs. Prior to now we really had sort all kinds of things go/nogo. It was too much a chore to cram paper, glass, plastic items into the small container, so I often didn't.
Now about 80% of what I throw out is recyclable and I fill that 96 gallon thing up on a regular basis. We also have a 96 gallon container, also provided by the city, for non-recyclable items but it seldom holds more than a bag or two.
