Shuttle Cockpit in High res

Just click on picture and move the mouse in any direction to scan. Great picture!

Don't forget to look at the ceiling! So many buttons, so little time!

Thanks for the nice posting.
Additional observations:
1. I saw a Dell laptop. Nice/free publicity for Dell.
2. Those yellow containers (probably pnuematic handlers like in the bank drive in) have labels that were handwritten by black markers. It makes me feel good that even the best forgets some details.

Very cool, that is probably the best closeup look I will see of the shuttle.

Additional observations - for all those billions, couldn't they have gotten a little more comfortable seats for those guys. Those blue things with the rivets look like $10 Ikea desk chairs. Still, very cool pictures.

Thanks for posting! I'd love to have my own space shuttle, but it looks a little more complicated to operate than my truck.

How much padding do you need in zero gravity ? Especially when the cost of putting every extra kilogram (of mass, not weight!) into orbit is, well, astronomical...

Here's another link that's pretty cool!

The SSP Imagery folks compiled an STS-135 Ascent Highlights Video that commemorates the last flight of Atlantis. It was previewed at the SSP MMT on Monday. It is worth 17 minutes of your time.

It's going to get boring working here real soon.....
