Spousal resentment? ? ?

If there is any resentment in our situation it is mine. I resent that my spouse has a job she enjoys 90+% of the time. It's not a financial thing (although do like that health insurance). Some days I just wish she was here to enjoy the great, great day I'm having. Yet, how can I begrudge her the enjoyment she is finding?

Have found "keeping house" to actually be enjoyable. Think it's the attitude that if the laundry doesn't get done on Monday there is always Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, April, May, etc.

I strive to make her weekends like a vacation. Am finding that 3 day weekends are even better now than when I was working.

PS- wash those used dryer sheets and use as coffee filters? DFill

We are of like minds with an often uncanny accuracy. When such events of agreement occur without warning. We look at each other and say the single word "Sync" because it in brief represents our two lives 'synchronization'.

One thing my wife does accuse me of is "behaving
like I am still single". Now, she does not mean in the
sense that I am chasing other women, but rather
that I make decisions and do pretty much as I please
without consulting her. She is correct mostly, but this
did not start with her. I have been that way my entire
adult life, married or single. My first wife had the
same complaint. Well, nobody is perfect but some of us do come closer than others
