Sunday Night FIRE Dreams?

Just noticed that there are currently 9 members online and 40 (!) guests. Got me wondering since it is late on Sunday and the start of a new work week looms large (and depressing?), does the board get more guest traffic on Sunday evenings than other days of the week?

Dory 3(whatever) & BMJ, any way of checking the stats on this to see if there is anything to it?

Not for me, and not much longer for you either!

I'm just browsing this board while waiting for the 7 PM Sunday night surf forecast to post.

Speaking of "not much longer", have you been calculating your "happiness factor"?

HF = (Days of remaining life expectancy in early retirement)/(workdays remaining).

Of course by Thursday you'll probably have to shift the units to minutes, and by Friday morning it'll become very unstable as co-workers invite you to leave early with them...

The data are available, all 500MB or so of logs per week, but analyzing it to look at guests' visits is something that I will leave for someone with a job to shirk while they figure it out!

However, the built-in stats the server offers shows the following total visits by day and by hour of day:

Huh! Monday is number one, that figures! Nothing like the slap of work reality to get those ER dreams going.

Re: Sunday Night FIRE Dreams?

I thought I noticed much lower traffic going on saturdays and sundays, which led me to believe a lot of people are posting from work, which led me to believe that a lot of registered posters are still working, which led me to believe that the non-working registered posters are more responsive when cross-posting with their working counterparts, which led me to believe that we sadistically enjoy our ability to lay around and prod people still working for a living.

Hey, gotta do something on weekends when the posting is light, and thinking is at the top of the list.
