ya, well, it's actually gonna work out well. have never ever owned two cars at the same time in my life. i always thought that was just for rich people though of all the rich people i know, i actually only know one with two cars because he's into hotrods. so i guess i always thought owning more than one car was for poor people. anyway for 10 days this will be quite the luxury. also will give me opportunity to have hidden hitch put on the stang so i can add a bike rack. and of course, i can always listen to that sexy exhaust note for short periods in the carport.

stripes are for kids. you don't want me giving the impression that i'm immature do ya? :P nya nya, nya nya nya.

was at gay muscle car show outside popular bar near here yesterday. was a gorgeous white vertible vette circa 1967. turns out it belonged to the agent who got my yellow stang (two cars ago) for me from auto auction (price was amazing, car was excellent). he's had the vette since he was 17 years old, though it had gone into disrepair for many years. a few ago years he restored it. looks great. talk about lbym. this guy has had the same car for 40 years.

here's pictorial update on the compromise car:

getting hitched

the leaning tower of hitch (hitch is turned ever so slightly but makes huge difference in tower -- new hitch on order.)

bike on rack on car (sort of the finished product)
