IMO the GI Bill did more to enhance the prosperity of America than any other legislation in the 20th century
It sure enhanced my personal prosperity! I'm delighted to see that others will have the chance to get an education after serving their country. Not a moment too soon.

My understanding is that the old GI Bill $1200 buy in will be refunded. What if I paid in the additional $600 for the $150 monthly kicker, will this too be refunded?
