Then of course the @$#^%#^$#$ing snow plow waits around the corner until I'm done to come by and deposit the 2' high, 4' wide heap of icey sludge at the end right after I put on my work clothes and was ready to leav.

Ah, you can tell when summer has arrived.* *People start reminising about snow.

OK, we're at sea level, so snow is pretty rare, but once in a blue moon, we get a nice dump.

This is my desktop at work... and my motivation for shutting the computer off and going home as early as possible.

Yes, that's me in the picture. Taken at a small lake in Michigan by my father inlaw a couple of years back.

Good times... my grandmother owned a small cottage near Dowagiac, at Dewey Lake. That was an outstanding place.

Bainbridge Island, WA, overlooking Rich Passage.* The mountians are the Olympics.* The ferry is the Seattle-Bremerton ship.

The Navy folks on the board could probably provide coordinates just looking at the pictures.*

I would have guessed that area, having been on ferries from Vancouver to Vancouver Island and then back to Washington a couple of months ago. That is really a beautiful area.
