"To the Door" questions

As part of the major changes to our way of life, to-the-door convenience has become a rapidly increasing phenomenon. Up to now, mostly in larger communities, but a growing quickly. In our case, so far, no Uber or Lyft, but even Aldi's has promised two hour deviery to begin soon.
How is this working in your life?
If you'd like to participate in a minor look at what "To the door" means to you, please participate in a fun look at where we are.

The next post contains a list of questions with space to show "if" and "how much" you use the delivery services. If you'll simply "Quote/Reply" the next post and fill in the spaces, it should allow us all to see how big this has become in our lives.

Personally, we like to get out of the house, restaurants, groceries, pharma etc. The only thing we do is Amazon Prime because of prices and selection. We don't do the food part of Amazon.

Not sure what time frame you were looking for, so I just went with the year 2018.

Per day? Per week? Per year? During my whole lifetime? I'm SO confused.

I'm mobile, like to go out, like to see and touch the merchandise. Also not enamored of the massive amount of boxes and plastics many of these deliveries take.

The only thing that comes to my door is Amazon and the Mail. Occasionally, I’ll buy something from other than Amazon, but it’s rare.

This pretty much sums up my use of "to the door" services. I normally will go to some store every day, just to get out. I do a lot of browsing online, but prefer to touch and feel before I buy, where possible.

I don't think I have had a meal delivery more that once or twice in my life. Take outs are normally pizza, chinese, or sandwiches, and I can order online and pick them up faster and hotter than delivery. BUT, I have always lived in suburbia, or so far out no one delivers.

DS lives in Chicago, Logan Square area. He and SO will either walk to a local place, or order for delivery if it is further away. With traffic and parking in the city, delivery makes a lot of sense.

We used to order pizza a few times a month when I was still working... You said lifetime.... so I put M.... but I don't think we've ordered pizza delivered since I retired in 2014.

DH has his maintenance drugs mailed.
I'm an amazon junkie.
Pre amazon I ordered several things on ebay... so I put more. But I typically only buy on ebay about 1xYear.

The fast food and restaurants hasn't been for over 15 years, though.

I haven't taken an Uber but saw my daughter take one and it was fun to watch its progress towards us on her cell phone.

My Amazon habit is huge. However I am the only human left who has never used ebay.

"M" on 1 -4, 6.

"0" on 5, 7-10.

Are you graphing this data?

Edit: although I've bought a number of things off Ebay, I've never "bid" on anything (and won). I just pay the "buy it now" price.
