Today my mail contained two letters from an attorney

In todays mail I had two envelopes, from a lawyer. Each had a bill enclosed

They both showed a previous balance paid in full and bill for a phone call for .25hrs on 10/16/20.
On one the charge for the .25 hrs is $55,
On the other the charge the .25 hrs is $100.
I think I'll pay the $55 dollar one.

I believe you owe for both : $ 100 for the atty. , and $ 55 for the office assistant to answer the phone and put you on hold

I've never gotten a bill from an attorney for $55. Or even $100.

I'll add they both have the same Invoice # and the same (internal) OUR FILE#, and date on them. Everything is identical, except the dollar amount,

Whatever you do, don't call and ask which one to pay. You'll get a third envelope, from the lawyer, with a bill enclosed.
