Here's a suggestion: take a second to make sure you've entered a date of birth and a location in your profile. This will help others interpret your post. For example:
"I went hang-gliding naked last January."
is quite different if the poster 49 and lives in Hawaii versus 82 in Minnesota.
You can change it by selecting the "profile" button, the "Forum Profile Information" in the "Modify Profile" box.
To foil identity thieves or other Internet bad guys, you might put only a general location, and a birth date that is not exactly right.
