Updated Net Worth Figures - How Do You Rate?

Many of you are familiar with the Net Worth figures on Scott Burns web site, see link:

http://www.dallasnews.com/business/s...ine/score.html

Today the Federal Reserve issued its triennial "Survey of Consumer Finances" which updates the Net Worth figures based on 2001 data, see link:

http://www.federalreserve.gov/pubs/b...3/0103lead.pdf

The median family net worth increased 10.4% from $78,000 to $86,100. Those in the Top 10% of families in term of net worth saw their fortunes increase 33.4% from $976,000 in 1998 to $1,302,000 in 2001.

Despite all the worries about taxes, gov't regulation, foreign aid, welfare, and Hillary Clinton, the rich continue to do very well. <grin>
