Thanks for asking T-Al. I'm curious too particularly since I'm in the DC area. Couldn't make it due to a meeting at the animal shelter I volunteer for, but hope some of the ER folks broke bread (or pizza) together

me too

Im a DC'er and I could not make it either and I was looking forward to 'the report' and all I see is Walt's report on parking in downtown DC.....yikes. I never had problems fitting my full size pickup in the underground garages so maybe he's driving one of those hi-lift jobs.

Here's Walt's truck, no wonder he had problems parking in DC

Nope, it's just a regular ol' '03 GMC, now with a cap over the bed, but no lift kit or anything. Stock suspension. That's an old picture, taken when it and the house was new.

But for the life of me I couldn't remember what the height of the truck was and I didn't want to find out with an expensive "Bang!" Couldn't even find a place to pull over and look it up in the manual.

Some of the parking garages where I worked before were tight for a Chevy Celebrity and I wasn't about to take a full-size pickup in there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... excuses, excuses, excuses. ;-)

Well, three of us managed to show up, myself, SecondCor521, and MyOwnTime. We had an enjoyable dinner and it was great to meet people in person. That said, it would have been that much better had others joined us ... and if the restaurant wasn't so crowded. I think SecondCor521 has a photo he's going to post.

Stay Cheap!

I apologized in the other thread and I will beat my breast over here too. I was planning to go and looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I somehow had it on my calendar for next week. This week I went on a bike trip. A senior moment, I guess. If anyone plans a followup, I will try my best to make it.
