BrianB - Darling dog!
Travelover - So sorry to hear about your pet's passing. Our dog is a big part of our life, too, especially with our kids grown up. Our kids call our dog our replacement child.

DW and I had dogs, always in pairs, for 33 of our 40 years together. We still think of Sugar & Winston, Mystic & Petey often and cherish every moment we had with them - memories we'll never forget. I suspect there will be another pair (dogs aren’t meant to be solitary) in our lives in the next few years after our travels/exploring slow down.
To those who say you can’t buy love, you learn otherwise when you bring a dog(s) into your life.

There are moments in my life when all I can count on is God; and our dog.
He's a Pekingese, so I am relegated to just another humble and lowly staff member. That's his smug face over there on my avatar.

Bringing back memories of Zak-The-Wonder-Dog, gone 17 1/2 years.
I recall someone who'd been watching him, (Borders have an abundance of energy), asking "Does he ever get tired?"..........I replied "I don't know....I've only had him six, (or seven, or eight) years".

My previous dog was a Border Collie mix, real sweetheart. Used to herd Pops to the supper table.

Koda's finally has enough walks and wants to go inside the dog park. Which fortunately opened yesterday. He was rehomed to me. But S lost his job so is moving home. I know Koda feels S is his 'special person' not me. Hope he gets to stay once he gets back on his feet (at least he graduated last month) Screenshot_20200607-175028_Photos.jpeg
