Wedding Engagement Gift Ideas

Maybe this great group with experience and time on their handscan help me out. My BIL age 56/57 just got engaged. This is the second marriage for him & his fiancée. DW & I want to spend maybe $200 on something appropriate as an engagement gift, there is nothing they really need. So far the list includes a spa package, hot air balloon ride, matching bathrobes. He’s a good BBQ guy, maybe Omaha steaks?

when I got engaged, I bought my wife a ring worth around 3k.

She bought me a surround sound system worth around 2500. That was a good engagement gift.

more practical ideas
Maybe an hour with an attorney to create a pre-nup.
Maybe a years supply of some food (wine of the month, beer of the month....)
magazine subscriptions
page a day calanders for next 20 years (to count the days...)
