What can you do... (Houston Rockets)...

OK... yes, I am a Rocket's fan.... been that was since I was young... sometimes went away for a bit, but always came back....

NOW, tonight they just won their 16th game in a ROW... a record for them...

And what has it done for them They have caught up only 1 game to San Antonio... yes, you read that right ONE GAME after winning 16 in a row...

At this rate, they can not catch up

And I did not look, but I think they only made up two games to the Lakers...

I am sure if you are a Denver fan.... being 35 - 24 and being out of the playoff race right now must be worse.... considering Cleveland is 34 - 26 and in 4th in the East...

yeah, the disparity between is east and west is the biggest ever, imho

whoever comes out of the east will likely be crushed....although seeing boston play us (cavs) a week or 2 ago makes me wonder how theyd do if they continue to play that kind of D

the lakers scare me with the new acquisition

and the spurs....well...SBD

Chuck Hayes is one of my all-time favorite college basketball players. Great player.

Now 18 in a row, and San antonio lost two straight so right behind them. I am a San Antonio fan so watching closely. Good luck to your rockets to keep it up. I thought they would be hurting without Yao but Mcgrady is stepping up and they are playing great D.

I looked it up... it is 33... one of the Laker teams IIRC...

Second is 20, so it might be within reach of Houston if lucky....

Just heard Gail Goodrich, guard from the Lakers in the 1970s (and UCLA team that won 30-something in a row) talking about the Rocket's streak. Those Lakers teams (Wilt, Goodrich, West) were just too good back then. My Dad used to take me to their games in Inglewood. Seems like yesterday.

I have to agree.... this team just does not look like it is the 'second best' in history... especially after Yao got hurt...

But as one of the Rockets said yesterday, even the 72-10 Chicago team did not do this....

More than likely it ends tomorrow (today for some)... OR the next game.... LA and Boston...
