What is your thermostat set at?

Winter (and today) Heat is 70 day and 62 night.

Summer (when it arrives) Cool is 72-74 from 11 pm to 7am when electricity rates are lowest. If it is crazy hot and humid then I turn it on after 5 pm when initial drop to off-peak price occurs.

Last used heat in January of 2015.

I have 2 AC units, neither work, and have never turned on AC in a house I owned.
I use a fan maybe 10 days in the summer.

I have no idea if the thermostat works or not.

Northeast here in a single-zone Cape Cod style.

67 heat / no cool. (Two window AC's for summer but have not used for 6 seasons.)

We heat above 60 from 4 to 10 pm weekdays. Heat drops to 60 10pm to 7am.

Working from home before ER, just dealt with the 60 or put on a hoodie.
When the wife retires in December this will get interesting. :)

68 for heat.
77 for cool in the daytime, 76 for cool at night.

67 Heat (Dec - Feb)
Under 45 degrees outside = Comforter

74 A/C (Mid May - Mid Sept.)

Heat: 67°F days / 62°F nights
Cool: 74°F days / 71°F nights

Neither runs much in Spring or Fall. We haven't run either much lately, sleeping comfortably with the windows open every night for several nights in a row - it's loverly.

70-73.

Random observation: I have a digital temperature monitor, and I keep walking by it and seeing "66.6" over and over. I wonder if it's possessed.

Heat 62 night, 66 day
Cool 74 night, 75-76 day

Use ceiling fan in den and bedrooms.

In winter, sleep with heavy comforter. Turn heat to 68 upon awakening to get rid of chill. Then turn it back down to 65 or 66 as 68 feels too hot.

Evaporative coolers do not work so well once the outside temperature gets into high 90's and house can heat up to 78 to 80. Then have to rely more on ceiling fans. If I wake up early or stay up very late, I can open windows and doors and take advantage of the high desert summer morning coolness.

COOLING: 6 AM to 10 PM: 78F; 10 PM to 12 AM: 76F; 12 AM TO 6 AM: 74F
HEATING: 6 AM to 10 PM: 72F; 10 PM to 12 AM: 68F; 12 AM TO 6 AM: 62F

74 during day and 72 at night for heat, 77 for cooling. My wife likes it warm, and I like my wife warm :)

Winter at bed time till morning 62 and then during the day 68. Summer is generally cools right down at night and we hardy run the air conditioner at all. If we do we set at ~78 but very seldom have to use air.

68 heat, 78 cool. I will sometimes turn the it down to 76 if I'm doing housework like mopping so I don't overheat. But most of the time we can get by without air conditioning in the summer if we open up windows at night.

We live in an area with variable, time-of-day electricity pricing. So...

For cooling
6AM-3PM: 77F
3PM-8PM: 80F
8PM-10:30PM: 76F
10:30PM-6AM: 75F

For heating:
6AM-3PM: 66F
3PM-8PM: 64F
8PM-10:30PM: 66F
10:30PM-6AM: 62F

In humid Virginia, we tend to keep it pretty low in spring (72-73) so that the compressor doesn't rarely run and indoor RH passes 50%. Once things get cooking in late Spring, it tends to be 75.
