My first thought on seeing the thread was "that needs a poll" before realizing it has one. The options, however, seem rather harsh! Maybe something good has happened to him? Studying with top stock pickers at Hefner's, perhaps?

Sorry I dropped off the face of the Forum.

Back in early January I was on my way to the post office to drop off the Netflix DVDs I had just copied, when I fell through the ice on the lake I take the short-cut over.
I was pulled out by some aliens under contract to Homeland Security (they must have been tailing me) and taken to Brokeback Mountain - they already had Apocalypse there.

They probed us relentlessly for 40 days and nights. We didn't divulge any information about the forum, but we did find out alot about our true natures and our place in the cosmos.

They finally let me go after I promised not to take anymore polls, not to copy DVDs, not to be critical of White House incompetence, and not to over do the use of smiley faces.

I don't know what happened to Apocalyse, except I think one of the aliens, who looked like Dick Cheney, took a liking to him - have to admit that my feelings are hurt that he liked him better than me.

Anyway, I missed you guys. I couldn't ask for a better bunch of virtual friends. Well.....it is possible there is a better bunch, but I'm retired and by nature lazy.

I'm so tired after what has happened, I find I still can't get a good nights sleep....would it be ok if I rest my head on those large (are they soft) pillows of yours every night - I'm sure I could fall a sleep and have sweet dreams again...
